I'm going to be living in BOCA DEL RIO, VERACRUZ, MEXICO next year!!!
It's a beautiful port city with tons of history and culture.
My host sister e-mailed me and she seems super nice, so I can't wait to get to know them.
Next year will be a-m-a-z-i-n-g !

Rotary Youth Exchange

For those of you who do not know what Rotary Youth Exchange is or want to know more, here's a brief overview. A long term Rotary Youth Exchange lasts one year and involves living with two or three host families while attending a local school. Applicants are generally above average students who have spent time as a leader in their community and must be sponsored by a local Rotary club. Once accepted into the program, students act as a youth ambassador for their home country and actively participate in all aspects of the exchange. The Outbound phase takes place the year before the student leaves their home country. The student attends events and orientations to learn about the program and their host country. An Inbound student is abroad and living in their host country. The Inbound student attends events with other Inbound students and the local Rotary club. For more information visit www.rotary.org.
